Ok before I start, I just want to let you know that if you want to go bold with floral prints but don’t want to look too much, wearing this print on a dark or neutral background is the perfect solution. Like the one I used in the picture above.
I love floral prints and I also adore sweatshirts, so when I find a floral printed sweatshirt, I feel like I’m in heaven. This floral printed sweatshirt would look great on its own with a pair of denim shorts. When you don’t wanna look too flirty, you can add a pair of sneakers to this look. However, you can always wear a pair of flats or flatform sandals if you want to look more feminine in front of your boyfriend.
Do you see that I picked a floral printed sneakers? I want to try a little fun way to wear floral prints by mixing it up a little bit. Because the flowers on the sweatshirt is not too crowded, you can add another floral print to your accessories (in this case I used shoes). While the sneakers provided the perfect tomboyish accessories, you can keep the whole look in balance with a plain nude tote bag and a pair of cute earrings.

Like what I said earlier, floral prints are transferred into jeans, skirt, dresses and t-shirts. Look at the picture above, even though t-shirts generally feature simple necklines and sleeves, they can be instantly polished with floral prints. Am I right? This print will add cheerful touch to your apparels. Floral pattern will also improve the mood of the person who wears it.
So, the key when wearing floral tops is to keep everything else simple. You want your t-shirt to pop, so make sure not to add any other pattern on your bottom (skirt or pants) because you don’t want to look too crowded. Since the top is generally colorful, I teamed it with a pair of boyfriend jeans. It gives you a chic touch.
Roll your jeans up and top it off with a gorgeous platform shoes. I chose a metallic shoes just to make the whole look a little bit edgy, and metallic also still in the color family of the floral prints on the t-shirt. Finish your look with a cross body bag and throw some accessories like rings on your fingers.
If you’re a nail art whiz, like I am, you can apply cute colors to your nails too! This is what I am talking about when styling floral tops you gotta keep the other pieces you’re wearing as simple as possible. Don’t wear too much prints, but different color combinations that you can get from your accessories can turn the volume up!
These styles are perfect for creating a casual weekend outfit. What do you think?
