Summer Oxfords

There are always new ways to rock the menswear trend, there’s always something for every girl out there. The latest piece that’s been our favourite, is oxford shoes.  Personally I think that oxford shoes are one of the staple items every woman should have.

I think oxfords are a great addition to any summer outfit. Whether you’re planning to wear them to your internship or on a date, or brunch, the fabulous oxfords will make you look super chic! Check out some of the adorable styling inspirations with oxfords that are worth recreating this season!

A casual and care-free outfit works best for summer. For me, a casual summer outfit includes a printed pants and frilled top. What kind of frilled top? I like the ones that is short or cropped. It never fails to bring the cuteness in you, and it’s summer anyways, it is totally ok if you want to show some  skin.

Then, style the cropped frilled top with a pair of bold printed tapered pants. The color of the pants I chose includes blue, pink, and purple, because it will really complement the color of the top. The combination is very eye-catchy.

Now let’s talk about the footwear. One easy way to add some interest to your outfit is to do it through your shoes. For this look, I chose a pair of metallic oxfords that will give your outfit some serious style points. They will definitely bring a bit of glamour into your simple style. This kind of shoes is simple, but can still manage to stand out with its silver detailing.

Since the shoes and the pants will most likely become the focal point of your outfit, you should keep the accessories to a minimum. Throw on some bracelets and complete the look with a leather shoulder bag.

Summer is actually a sandal season, however, sometimes you need to give your feet a break from flip-flops. You should try to opt for a pair of oxfords, that has a little masculine flair but can be worn even in the feminine way. The second style will show you how to do it.

A cute outfit to wear this season is a romper or mini dress made of cotton paired with a long cardigan. Yes, sleeveless romper or mini dress is totally breathable and is included in the list of the comfiest outfits to wear. Wear your romper, then, just throw on a long cardigan and match the color of your oxfords to it. One of my favorites for summer definitely is brown, which will definitely look great if worn with a black romper or mini dress.

I found this lace up oxford that were made without lacing and had some really sophisticated brown leather lining. If you are looking for a shoe to fit this outfit combo, this is the perfect choice. It has the perfect slim type and very fashionable.

Finish off your look with a leather shoulder bag, a bowler hat to keep your face from the sun rays, and don’t forget to apply lipstick so you won’t look pale!

Oxford shoes are fun, unique, and of course, a classic! Which look is your favourite? Whether you’re choosing the first or second style, make sure to stay comfy and cozy wherever you are!
