Do you know what sheer fabric is? Sheer fabric is fabric which is made using thin thread and which results in a semi-transparent cloth. I love love sheer to the moon and back. The reason why is that because I live in the tropical country where the weather is just hot all of the time. Sheer offers very little in the way of warmth for the wearer, so fashion pieces made of sheer are just one of the greatest options there is to wear in tropical areas.
Sheer clothing can be inappropriate at times, but this is just because we don’t really know how to wear it. We have to learn to layer our sheer pieces so they can be worn anytime and anywhere. I am going to give you two styling ideas that will make you want to wear sheer pieces as soon as possible. Check them out!

In some parts of the world people are now experiencing the transition from winter to spring. The weather is still quite cold but you can wear something lighter. A sheer sweater is the perfect fashion piece to wear this time of the year. It’s the best way to wear your sweater before the weather gets even hotter.
Ok, so knowing how to wear sheer can determine whether your outfit becomes sexy or sophisticated. One tip on how to wear sheer involves some smart layering. The sweater I chose in the picture above is not completely see-through, but it is made of sheer, so you somehow still need to layer something underneath it. When I wear sheer top, I usually add a tube top underneath it. Tube tops can hide your bodyparts when you wear sheer pieces. Because the sweater is colored white, you can use a white tube top so there won’t be too many colors popping on your outfit.
Then, for a cool and chic look, I would like you to mix the sheer sweater with a pair of soft pink cropped cigarette pants. Ankle boots will look best paired with cropped pants, but this type of pants can also help you show off your favourite sneakers! Oh, and keep in mind, the man-style trend (croppted pants) looks best when you mix feminine touches in – so the pink color of your pants, a cute nude nail polish, and a tiny black bag will be great to complete this ensemble.

Some people dare to show their bra underneath a sheer top, but if you aren’t prepared for that, you can add a simple fitted tank top under your sheer blouse to avoid showing too much skin. It provides a lot of coverage while still giving your body a nice shape. Thankfully
Thankfully the blue sheer blouse I picked in the picture has already had a camisole attached underneath it, so it’s all good. However, if you have a sheer blouse that does not come with a camisole, you can always wear a simple tanktop with similar color so that it will work beautifully.
For this second style, I want to create a more relaxed look that you can wear for a casual occassion. A sheer patterned blouse will look chic with a pair of high waisted short. You can leave the blouse outside the shorts, but to accentuate the power of your high waisted short, I recommend you to tuck in the sheer blouse into your shorts. This look will be exceptionally good if you are a petite. When you wear high-waisted shorts, your legs will look longer.
Then, complete the ensemble with a pair of comfortable flat outsole sandal (I am using metallic ones here to create a statement), a black crossbody bag, and accessories such as a pair of stone studs and a cute blue iPhone case. Before you go out of the house, you can also stick false eyelashes just to make your eyes and your day even brighter!
