Fashion month has embarked upon its final leg in Paris. We’re so excited to share our top 5 favourite collections this season. Scroll down to find them out!
DRIES VAN NOTEN
We love this collection from Dries van Noten! You can see that there’re so many interesting pieces here. Can’t believe a workwear-inspired pants in navy blue can look that fresh, if mixed with the right utilitarian-vibe top with cinched waist. Love the cut, love how it layers over a simple white tee, and to finish it off with a pair of green heels? So chic! Another favourite is that floral printed midi skirt with drapes on the side, combined with a sleeveless blue top. The color feels so luxurious. Not to mention the green mermaid-like dress and the marmalade pencil skirt with red feathers encircling the waist. This collection is perfect for spring and summer! We’re in love.
We love how not so complicated the looks are in this collection. Although we can see some busy prints and detailing, the whole looks still feel effortless! The accessories are quite exciting: the earrings and the belts, everything looks so nice. We particularly love the chameleon bag, but not a fan of the huge C attached to those bags. All in all, it’s a very decent show in our opinion.
A truly great show! Loving the set. Look at that lilac coat — it’s our favourite. Other impressive looks include the red dress at the end of the show, the cobalt blue bodycon dress and the white oversized shirt! The whole collection is super straightforward by way of the cuts and tailoring.
Oh a very fine collection, again from Issey Miyake. Don’t know how many times we’ve put this brand on our top 5 favourite lists. Everything is so well constructed. We are loving the prints as well, and the choice of colour! The clothes give you a sense of ease. Imagine walking in those outfit in the summer, it will give you a carefree feeling!
We love everything in this collection, so very exquisite! OMG look at that beige suit with a white collar and the black leather dress, so yummy! All the colors went well together and the details… Man the details are fantastic. And we’re so surprised that the details did not overwhelm the looks at all. With so much going on, the clothes could have turned bad, but actually they didn’t. That’s why we’re in love with it.
