Let’s not blab around too much. It’s the end of Paris Fashion Week, and these are the fall 2015 runway standouts from the last stop of fashion month, check them out!
Punk and ladylike were the key points to Balenciaga’s fall 2015 collection. Textured pencil skirts in palette of black and grey, combined with beautiful tube top and / or oversized tweed jacket. They looked totally ladylike but when you add pairs of moto boots and gloves to the look, you can feel that edgy aura effect – which was really cool and can be such an attention grabber.
Isabel Marant showed super high waisted trousers in monochrome color and a series of blanket-motif jackets. The whole collection was filled with clothes of mostly black, white and neutral tones. You can imagine that these clothes are definitely wearable fashion that never lost its cool factor.
Givenchy’s Fall 2015 collection looked like art. The models walked on the runway with their hair slicked back and their faces covered with jeweled nose rings and rubies, that somehow looks scary but it’s actually scary good. We are guessing, Riccardo Tisci used Victorian for his inspiration, because as you can see, the whole collection was filled with beautiful fit and flare dresses with rich detailing and also lots of tailored coats. The coats looked like a bustier that can shape the middle part of the body and then flare gorgeously all through until they stop at the knees. Some of the brown peacock blouses were tugged off one shoulder, the coats and blouses got extra frills and ruffles. This was actually a really great collection. And will you buy the jewel accessory in the future? We think so!
We always love how aesthetically clean Celine’s collections are. These are all the clothes you just want to slip into as soon as possible. The show started with a model hugged in a fit knit sweater with pockets embellished on it and giant fur poofs on both her hands. Then followed with a zebra printed dress, that was definitely a statement. We also love the very clean brown long knitdress with huge red tote. Oh, the models were all wearing white sneakers that looked super comfy. So, from white shoes, to chic oversized tote bags, to strong animal prints, there was a little bit of everything. What not to love? This fall 2015 collection from Celine won our hearts.
Everytime the fashion month began, we always wait for Stella McCartney’s show and again, she didn’t fail us this time. We absolutely fell in love with those beautiful cropped pants that comes in gorgeous colors and also completed with very chic belts. The monochrome dresses and tops looked a bit dull at first, but when you see the ruffled details attached on those amazing lean top and that half-opened thick-knit sweater dresses…. You just want to wear them right away. The collection looked gentle and cosy. Those lightweight wools that covered the models bodies screamed YES YES YES WEAR ME!
This fall 2015 collection is a debut for designers Adrien Caillaudaud and Alexis Martial. A very fresh new start with very chic clothes – let’s see…. The assorted Japanese floral motifs, colorful seperates that include A-line-high-wasited minis with blouses and vest on top, those 60’s inspired high-wasited pants. Absolutely a must-have for the season. The collection these both designers offered just made us can’t wait for the next work they are going to create.
Uh no, Valentino made us love black and white even more. A whole section of striped black and white dresses opened the show and those clothes made us crave for more B/W stripes to put into our closet! The geometric prints were just amazing. In the middle of the show, Valentino finally offered us colors, and as you can see on the picture above, the super-bright pops on the long dress just catches our eyes immideately. Look how pretty the details were. It’s just amazing. The show then ended with another black and white palete, and the sexy geometric neckline was the bomb! What do you think? Do you agree with us? Oh, and to make it even better, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson reprised their roles as Zoolander and Hansel for Valentino Fall 2015 fashion show! WOW!
Last but not least, (oh we always put Karl’s on the last spot in our list) – the long awaited Chanel Fall 2015 collection! For this season, Karl Lagerfeld sat his A-list models – read: Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, and Joan Smalls – down at Chanel’s very own brasserie. So when the audience took their seats, the models came out and stopped at different booths, making fashion-show small talk. How cool is that? As for the clothes, you can see classic Chanel ladies wore puffer coats with origami detailing, sheer cocktail dresses, and pencil skirts in no other than plaids and tweeds. They also wore pairs of cap-toe, square-heel slingback shoes, which was Coco Chanel’s signature. Oh, they looked chic.
