New York Fashion Week have already wrapped up a week ago and just as always we are going to show you some of our favourite collections. Here is a round up of our version of the best trends for fall 2015. Check them out!
We truly fell in love with Jason Wu FW2015 collection. The olive green color and all those cropped pants were extremely amazing. We bet those will be huge trends for next fall. Fur was also everywhere on NYFW last week. Jason Wu even created fur in camo color which literally made us drool – definitely a statement outerwear to beat out the cold!
Suno’s show started with an all black look, unlike the previous seasons that were filled with bright and cheerful colors. You can also see a slimmer fit pieces showed up on the runway, and not the usual boxy silhouttes, but we love it! Their signature wonderful prints and embellishment were still there, so even though the show had this darker vibe, it was still super fresh.
One of the designers that has always been on our favourite for years, is Alexander Wang. This season he offers his fans an all-black-everything collection, all decorated with stud metal detailing. Models were strutting donw the catwalk with wet stringy hair and the also wore pairs of extreme platform combat boots. Though the line up was not totally black (there were two ivory sweaters combined with jeans, red plaids outerwear, and mesh), the rest was pitch black – and that’s all we need from Wang.
However, it’s vice versa with Tibi this season. Warm, comfortable, and cozy were all we could think about after we saw Amy Smilovic’s FW2015 designs for Tibi. The sugary winter pastel colors were so pretty, and it was all presented in long, lean silhouettes. It was hard not to love the pieces. We also love the culottes, which will probably will stay in trend this year!
Glamourus is the only word that represents Monique Lhuillier’s FW2015 collection. Those silk floor length gown in feminine jewel tone colors were so breathtaking. The cut out dark red gown was probably our favourite. It’s sexy yet very elegant. Monique Lhuillier revealed her muse for the season, and it’s Kate Moss. So what’s not to love from this fall collection?
We also like the easy to wear pieces from Dion Lee’s FW2015 collection. Those creamy winter whites ribbed knits and skirts in sporty shapes are the highlight to the show. It’s so luxurious. There was also a touch of toughness in the collection. We can see it especially in the oversized sweater that draped around and evening dress. Omg, why haven’t we thought about mixing those two fashion pieces before?
This is just the first part of our NYFW Fall 2015 review. We still have more, so stay tuned and come back tomorrow!
