LFW Spring 2019

Here’s everything you need to know about our most favourite looks from the London Fashion Week this season!

Delpozo is one of the designers that we’ve always waited for at London Fashion Week. This collection is so romantic and so poetic, as always, that it makes us feel like dreaming. You can feel the air blowing through those striped printed sheer shirts. We can feel the Handmaid’s Tale vibe there when we saw the beautiful red cape completed with white flower headpiece. The printed lavender co-ord is also super pretty, with bows added on both sides of the pants and pleated chiffon attached to the front of the top. The whole collection contains of flowing stunner that will make strong entrances for a party. Everything is so perfect for summer, so flowy and trailed gracefully as the models walked down the runway.  This is what you call excellent craftmanship. Delpozo has always been a highlight at fashion week, really!

Loving the very English vibe in this collection! Some of the most interesting looks revolved around the shorts, and they’re bigger than ever this season. Loving the blue ensembles that ranging from a combination of turtleneck lightweight sweater with those knee-length shorts, to a blue collared shirt tucked into a checkered midi skirt. And a range of menswear looks, from the very dapper sweater and coat combo to the lime green shirt thrown under a grey suit. They look so smart. Models wore their hair a bit messy and sported natural makeup, allowing the textures and shapes of each outfit to stand out. It’s a simplicity at it’s finest.

I don’t know about you, but this collection is a winner for us. This season she does not only play more with with volume that offers us fuller silhouettes, but Emilia also surprised us with all of those pant suits, when usually she worked around pretty feminine dresses. This time she turned the wheel a bit and tried on the office-wear ensemble, and she succeeded. Gorgeous color palette in this collection! Following the neon trend we can see lime punch and fuchsia red, a model strode down the runway unfurled in a cape-like gown in fuchsia that has a unique cutting and seems to be very interesting to wear. However, there are some dusty colors too, like a chic camel colored blazer worn over a white shirt with enormous collar, completed with another camel colored pleated pants.  And we fell in love with that super crisp white sleeveless dress worn with a fuchsia pointy mules. Such a statement.

So very tasteful! The highlights of this collection were the simplest looks: Super charming pleated dresses made with beautiful fabric, completed with chic accessories. Extremely beautiful gold pleated dress. Those are the looks we love best. And here you can also see that the chicest way to wear a pajama suit is to cinch it with a tasseled belt!

A very pleasant outfits to look at! JW Anderson’s collection is just getting stronger and stronger, in details and construction. This time he plays with lots of little details, using techniques that are so playful. Among them are the fishnet accent on the crop top and dresses, also tailored jackets with floor-legth fringed macrame. Sometimes fishnets look cheap, but here they’re done beautifully, really well executed. Small details like a good leather skirt with large strip curving off at the hip is also very, very pretty. It’s a remarkable collection!
