We know that the collections showing at London Fashion Week have been known as to be nowehere as good as the collections showed there on the previous years, but we don’t totally agree to that. We think that some of this Spring 2018 collections are already much-much better than NYFW. We are going to reveal 6 of our favourites here!
First of all, we are not actually that into prints, but upon seeing this Spring 2018 collection from Markus Lupfer, we are sold! These are so eye-catching, we can not help but love it! Even though these are totally not our thing, but it’s still a very enjoyable collection in some way, making us want to wear them to the pool or anywhere in the summer, really. It’s cute and the styling makes it even more fun! Look at those accessories *drool*
If you are one of our loyal readers, you will know that we (almost) always put Eudon Choi in our fashion week favourite lists. This season feels like the last season, where he created oversize clothes — but this time it’s even more wearable and modern! Our favourite combo is the gingham suit that was matched with a pair of gingham pants; also, the relaxed tailor shirt with a pair of black pants; we can totally see them worn to work! Again, Choi’s collection looks very comfortable to wear and will not trap us from a free range of movements.
Ports 1961 Spring 2018 collection is so good and wearable. We could easily see them working in real life, off the runway. The silhouettes are so clean and the color palette is pretty much amazing. We like it very much, it is simple and well executed. Also, next time you want to tuck your top into your pants or skirt, try rolling it up! It’s a very refreshing look and also super cool!
We just can’t stop loving Temperley London. This season’s collection is, as always, so light, airy and pretty, we like it! Some of the color combos from the from the first part of the collection is not that heart-racing, but still likeable. They are brightly printed and the texture of the fabric is amazing, does not feel overdone. There are also some unexpected looks, like the matched set of green cropped bustier layered with striped jacket, worn with wide-leg cropped pants with the same color; or the sequin striped wrap top combined with cropped trouser, both in black and silver; those are very strong looks! We are loving the accessories too, not too keen on the sunnies tho, but the platform laced up sandals and headscarf are 100% fabulous!
Our opinion for Emilia Wickstead’s collection this sping, in two words: always perfection! We really like the volumes and the colors (so freaking pretty). We always adore the simplicity and beauty of her designs. Our favourite looks might be the white dress with a little cutout under the bust that makes it alluring, but still very appropriate. The rose gold dress is also very pretty, loving the shade!
Hmm, another collection that looks very sharp and covetable. Really, really like the oversized suits in fine cream color that has a little bit of boyish elegance. Even though this brand usually is really good at skinny and narrow pants, the oversized look is fabulous! With the sandals as their footwear, this collection reminds us of how when we arrived at the office in the morning and started to work, we always change our shoes into sandals (at least we do!). Overall, it’s really good and we would really love to wear a lot of it!
