So many shows to keep up at the London Fashion Week and we have already picked out the top 6 of our favourite collections from this season!
We actually can never get enough of Victoria Beckham. This season she showed off her secondary line that was full with her trademark street and sport inspired looks, all came in very calm and luxurious colors (read: grey, black). Although there were some colors too, like pink and red, but the winner of the show was those wide pleated grey flannel trousers and black track pants that were combined with jackets. It was slouchy and also beautiful, oh and looks comfy too!
When you see Temperley London’s collection, you can always feel the familiar element of romance. It was seen through the plenty of interesting details: floral prints and embroideries on a beautiful blue dress, fully printed maxi skirt in fine material paired with cable knit sweater, a blue almost shiny-like dress with high-waisted type of skirt and a plunging neckline for the top. It was just super pretty.
The Korean designer, Eudon Choi, whom has an in-depth knowledge of tailoring techniques created one of the most amazing collections this season at London Fashion Week Fall 2017. His models strode toward the front of the stage beautifully dressed in an oversized olive knit suit with a tunic top (this is our favourite!), striped shirts that were tucked into wide grey wool trousers — or if you prefer a more colorful look, there was this orange pants! So chic, don’t you think?
After such a long hiatus, Husein Chalayan came back to LFW with his signature draped and sculptural silhouettes incorporated into the Fall 2017 collection. Dresses that looked like Goddess-dresses came in natural and earthy palette, like shades of brown, black and grey. Those colors were also incorporated into pieces such as wool dresses, jackets, sleek dresses worn over a woolen top. The whole collection felt feminine and just perfectly shaped, we are in awe.
If you love to wear sweatshirts, then it is time to take inspirations from Ashley Williams’ Fall 2017 collection. Embrace your favourite sweatshirt and give it a touch of preppy look just like the girls from Ashley Williams’ show. The highlights of this show included the cropped pants that come up with a black sweatshirt and the buttoned-up grey shirt tucked in to a yellow tartan skirt, and completed with a varsity jacket. Extravagant!
Las but not least, a lovely and colorful show to close LFW. Our favourite Marques’ Almeida this season brought you a lineup of patterns: swirl patterned dresses and boots, black and white polka dots, stripes and graphic patterns, it’s everywhere. Fun and lively colors also popped on the runway this time, coming out in the form of yellow long coat, mules in electric blue and pink, it’s so stylish. The show was bold and bright — just perfect to close LFW.
