Recreate The Look - Evening Smokey Eyes

First step to do is to start with a clean base. Apply a cream concealer over your eyelids to create a smooth base for your eyeshadow. This will allow the makeup to stay longer and makes it easier to blend the eyeshadows. You can also use a concealer under the eyes to even out any discoloration on your skin.

Then, to create the smokey eye, start off with dark brown and black eyeshadow all over the eyelid (Smoky Eyes Lilac Eyeshadow, by Bourjois). Blend them out up and outward, so there aren’t any harsh lines. Then, apply a gel or pencil liner as close as you can to the lashline. If you feel that your eyes need more intensity you can pack on more layer of eyeshadow. Finish with two coats of black mascara for an intense look.

Next step, to the face. Use a foundation with one shade darker than your skin tone (Mineralize Foundation, by MAC). Applying bronzer (Omega Bronze, by Marc Jacobs Beauty) is also a great way to add a healthy glow to your face. You can also use it for contouring. To add glow and shimmer to your skin, apply a multipurpose colorstick on your cheekbones (The Multiple in Copacabana, by NARS). Last but not least, show up with show up with a lip color that goes with your eye makeup and matches your outfit of the day (Black Cherry Lip Velvet, by Burberry).
