Winter is already around the corner. Everything about winter makes me happy, for example: the really cool weather and of course the clothes! If you are like me, then you also love to have a winter holiday after spending half the year basking under the summer sun. When it’s time for the season to change, you might want to reuse your summer clothes instead of throwing them into your closet. Especially when you live in a tropical area like me and are going to go for a holiday to a city where the weather is cold, you can definitely use your everyday clothes for winter. So how can you do it? What are the outfit essentials to bring and wear for your winter holiday? Read on to find out! There are alot of demands in this past week asking us to style a fall or winter wardrobe, so I guess there are also a bunch of you girls who are going to have a winter holiday somewhere far from your country? Then let’s do it! First thing first, there is no reason for you to waste money on a new fall winter wardrobe when you can use things that you already have. You better save your money and spend it on for your holiday! So you need to remember to be smart about layering. In this post I am giving you a style that is perfect for layering with your summer clothes. For the top, you can wear your everyday collared shirt underneath a chunky sweater. See? You ony need a sweater to make your outfit warmer. Keep the collar and the hemline of your shirt peeking out from under your sweater for a more stylish look. Try to wear cool printed sweaters and not the boring solid colored ones, because why not?! Prints are amazing! Choose them in colours and cuts that best suit your personal style. For the bottom, I think leggings are pretty essential and versatile. They come in different styles and textures, and basically you can pair them with anything. Wear the legging to complete your winter outfit, and for extra coverage, you can wear them with a pair of long socks and boots. Complete your look with stylish beanies. I pick a shocking pink colored beanie because it will create a beautiful color contrast with the black and white outfit. Layering is really easy and can be done with any clothing. If the weather gets a lot colder, you can add a scarf and also coats to make your outfit warmer. You can really pull off the super model off-runwaylook! It’s the perfect winter wardrobe essential, it really fits the season. There are a few styles of parka that you can find in fashion stores, but what I like the most is the one I chose in the picture. It is called The Mod Parka. The key element for this kind of parka is the hem. The hem needs to be longer at the back, where the tails feature a split in the middle of it. The Mod parka is so fashion forward and also can help protect your body more from the really cold weather. You can actually wear anything inside the parka. Sweaters, shirt, t-shirt, you name it. But like what I’ve said earlier in this post, when winter comes, you need to do some layering. I recommend you to wear a white t-shirt and cover it with a shirt. You can choose your facourite prints on your shirt like gingham, tartan, or maybe the unique animal prints. If you want a more casual-lousy look, you can leave the shirt unbuttoned. That’s the perfect way to do layering. However you should keep in mind that you need to feel comfortable with it. Don’t layer too much tops. If you still feel cold, you can add a good quality scarf and followed by a warm beanie. Complete your winter look with a pair of jeans and also the thoughest, most stylish boots that you will ever gonna wear. This combination will of course make you look as cool as the weather in winter.
