Best Dressed: Golden Globes ’18

The Golden Globes this year was filled with stars and celebrities using the red carpet moment to pay tribute to women who had spoken out against sexual harassment. Also, in recognition to the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, celebrities wear all black to show solidarity and support to fight sexual harassment, assault and inequality across all industries. Even though the event was a sea of black gowns and tuxedos, it did not look boring. The celebrities could express their personal styles instead. And we have 5 of our most favourite looks from the event last night!

Best Dress - Golden Globes 2018

(1) Zoë Kravitz in Saint Laurent
Our girl Zoë wore a simple yet strong Saint Laurent gown, with side slit that showed her sexy Christian Louboutin shoes! We really like this look, a little bit subdued than usual, but it was still great. Especially after she finished the look with a pair of Lorraine Schwartz emerald earrings that actually showed a sign of justice and harmony.

(2) Claire Foy in Stella McCartney
The reason why we put Claire Foy in our list is because she amazed us when playing as The Queen in The Crown, and she also wowed on the red carpet because she opted for a black tailored suit by Stella McCartney! And just look at that swept-back hair do. What’s cooler than that, really?

(3) Kendall Jenner in Giambattista Valli
Kendall Jenner wore a very beautiful black Giambattista Valli gown, full with layers of tulle — and this gown definitely  brought attention. Although, people were wondering why she was at the event, she definitely rocked that dipped hem gown, completed with a pair of T-bar heels. So pretty.

(4) Alicia Vikander in Louis Vuitton
Alicia Vikander looked stunning in a Victoriana high neck black maxi dress by Louis Vuitton. The dress was completed with a ruffled turtleneck, long sleeves and a modest open back. Simply elegant.

(5) Emilia Clarke in Miu Miu
Our mother of dragons donned her Khaleesi-blond hair and looked freaking stunning in a black Miu Miu strapless dress with a plunging neckline, bow detailing, and a slit up the back! The gown was simple, but very, very pretty, especially with those detailing. Oh, and the look got even better with her popping red lips.
